Happy Fall everyone! I hope this beautiful season has been wonderful for you and that you are feeling fantastic. As we head into the colder months many of you may be taking your cardio workouts indoors. If you’re like me, you may be wondering what workout you can do that will train your cardiovascular endurance while also giving you that great sweat that you crave.
Luckily, Fitness Unlimited has an amazing Spin Studio that will make all of your cardio dreams come true.
Why Spin you might be asking? Well, Spin classes are awesome for many reasons. A few of the top benefits being strengthening cardiovascular endurance, building and toning muscle, stress relief and the opportunity to workout in a group environment. Not to mention the fantastic playlists. Many Spin instructors will choreograph the Spin tempo to the songs that are played. The beauty of this is that often you will get so lost in the beat of the song that the set is over before you know it. So if you are someone who finds it hard to stay engaged during a cardio workout, then Spin class is definitely for you. Choreography in Spin class will not only help you feel more engaged during the workout but it will also help strengthen your mental focus.
The other huge benefit of Spinning that is often overlooked is that it helps naturally detox the body. Which can come in handy during the holiday season that is fast approaching. Spinning helps increase your blood flow to tissues in turn helping you release toxins and burn fat. It does this by increasing the circulation of lymph fluid that is responsible for removing toxins and bacteria from the body. It will also help cleanse the liver and kidneys which are our bodies built-in detox system. After just a few spin classes you will be reaping the benefits of releasing so many toxins from your body. You will feel lighter, more energized and mentally clear. What is better than that!?

One of our fabulous Spin instructors, Sam Cacciatore, will be hosting a FREE introduction to Spin class on Sunday, November 17th at 10 am. There is nothing more amazing and inspiring than being in a room with women who are actively wanting to grow!” Sam will walk you through how to get comfortable on your bike, how Spin class works, and how to get the most out of your workout.
