Benefits of Personal Training

Having a personal trainer can be a game-changer when it comes to reaching your fitness goals. Below are some of the benefits of why you should hire a personal trainer:

  • Customized Workouts: Our personal trainers design workouts tailored specifically to your goals, fitness level, and any special considerations like injuries or limitations.
  • Form and Technique: Our personal trainers are there to make sure your form is on point. Proper technique not only prevents injuries but also ensures you’re getting the most out of each exercise.
  • Motivation: A personal trainer is your built-in motivator, providing the encouragement and accountability you need to stay on track.
  • Efficient Workouts: Our trainers know how to maximize your time by having you do workouts that give you the most bang for your buck, whether your goal is weight loss, muscle gain, or overall fitness.
  • Progress Tracking: Our trainers help you stay on track. They move your forward so that you see results.

Hiring a personal trainer is your GPS, guiding you toward your destination with expertise, motivation, and a personalized approach.

Any member interested in participating in our Pilates Reformer Classes must go through a pilates consultation. This consultation is complimentary and takes approximately 45 minutes. It allows the trainer to evaluate and place you in the proper level. You are allowed one complimentary consultation. If for some reason you can not make your scheduled appointment we ask that you give us proper notice to cancel. For all training appointments we require a 12 hour cancellation notice. If you do not show up or cancel late, you will forfeit the complimentary session.

Benefits of Pilates Reformer Training

Below are some reasons why hiring a Pilates Reformer Trainer is a great investment in yourself and your future:

  • Customized Programs: Our trainers can create a personalized Pilates routine based on your fitness goals, whether it’s improving core strength, flexibility, or overall toning.
  • Precision and Form: The Pilates Reformer is all about controlled movements and precise form. Our trainers will ensure you’re doing exercises correctly, maximizing their effectiveness and minimizing the risk of injury.
  • Targeted Workouts: The Reformer allows for a wide range of exercises that target specific muscle groups. A trainer can tailor your sessions to focus on areas that need attention, helping you achieve a more balanced and sculpted physique.
  • Variety and Challenge: Pilates Reformer workouts can be adjusted to different levels of difficulty. A trainer can gradually increase the intensity as you progress, keeping your workouts challenging and preventing plateaus.
  • Feedback and Corrections: In real-time, a trainer can provide feedback and make corrections to your form. This immediate guidance ensures that you’re getting the most out of each movement and reduces the risk of developing bad habits.
  • Motivation and Accountability: Having a trainer by your side adds a motivational factor. Their encouragement and support can make you more likely to stick with your Pilates routine, even on days when you might feel less motivated.
  • Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation: If you have specific health concerns or are recovering from an injury, a Pilates Reformer trainer can tailor exercises to suit your needs. Pilates is often recommended for rehabilitation due to its low-impact nature and focus on controlled movements.
  • Efficient Workouts: Pilates Reformer workouts are known for being efficient. With a trainer guiding you, you can make the most out of your time at the studio, ensuring that each exercise is purposeful and effective.
  • Mind-Body Connection: Pilates emphasizes the mind-body connection, promoting mindfulness and awareness of your movements. A trainer can guide you in mastering this connection, enhancing the overall benefits of your Pilates practice.

In summary, a Pilates Reformer trainer can elevate your experience by providing personalized guidance, ensuring correct technique, and helping you achieve your fitness goals more effectively.

If you would like to become more acquainted with any of our machines and learn how to better use our cardiovascular or strength equipment, we hope you will take advantage of our complimentary equipment orientation.  This complimentary appointment is included in all paid memberships including short term prepaid memberships. Studio Group Fitness Classes at Fitness Unlimited offer a bunch of perks! First off, they’re super motivating. Exercising with a group can push you to work harder than you might on your own. The energy in the room can be contagious, and it’s like having a built-in support system. Variety is another big plus. With classes ranging from yoga and spinning to high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and pilates mat and barre, you can switch things up and find what you enjoy. It beats the monotony of doing the same solo workout every day. The expertise of the instructors is a major benefit too. They’re trained to guide you through the exercises with proper form and intensity. Plus, the structured nature of classes ensures you get a well-rounded workout—cardio, strength, flexibility, you name it.  Let’s not forget the social aspect. It’s a fantastic way to meet like-minded people. You might even make some new workout buddies. It turns fitness into a social event, making it more enjoyable and sustainable.  All in all, group fitness classes make breaking a sweat a whole lot more fun and effective! We offer over 75 studio classes per week in three separate studios, (mind body, energy and cycle).

Changes to our schedule are made for various reasons: new trends, low attendance (please be sure to check-in for class, and instructor changes. We welcome feedback. Please send comments to cmccarthy@fitnessunlimited.com. We pride ourselves on having the absolute best class schedule on the south shore!
