Let’s be honest, one of the best parts of the Superbowl is the snacks. I mean at this point I have just come to expect that the Patriots will be in the Superbowl so I start focusing on what kind of snacks I want to enjoy while I watch them win it all.
Since Superbowl snacks can be incredibly indulgent (which let’s be clear, there is no problem with that) I like to offer my friends a couple of healthier options to balance it all out.
Here are some healthy snack recipes I have rounded up that would be perfect to serve at a Superbowl party.
Vegetarian Buffalo Cauliflower Dip: This delicious dip is a twist on a classic favorite and will appeal to both vegans and nonvegans alike!
Guacamole: This is the best guac recipe you will ever find, I promise! Try serving it with a mix of flax tortilla chips and vegetables.
Sweet Potato Chips: These chips provide the perfect crunch and baking them makes them a lot healthier than their fried counterparts.
A Cheese & Charcuterie Board: Making a cheese & charcuterie board allows guests snack on a variety of options. Fill your board with different cheeses, high quality charcuterie, crudités, flax crackers, and fruit.
Crispy Baked Buffalo Wings & Lemon Pepper Baked Wings: You can’t have a Superbowl party without wings! These baked versions are much healthier and still get perfectly crispy. They will be sure to satisfy anyone’s craving.
Crispy Roasted Chickpeas: These make the perfect guilt free snack! The crunch paired with the hint of spice makes them addicting while still being a great source of fiber, potassium, and vitamin C.
