Small Group Mind & Body Training Programs
Barre, Reformer and Yoga
Fitness Unlimited's Small Group Mind and Body Programs create an intimate environment where each participant can expect to receive top notch instruction in body awareness, postural alignment, core activation and meditation. Both the trainers and the participants motivate and challenge each other week after week.
Total Body Barre Programs: Classes are limited to 8 participants. Barre classes are drop-in. There are no refunds or credits. We require a 24 hour notice to reschedule if unable to attend, otherwise the session is forfeited. Classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment up to 24 hours before the scheduled class.
Total Body Barre
Fitness Unlimited's barre program designed to create a uniquely lean, firm, sculpted body by combining the muscle-shaping principles of isometrics, the body-elongating practice of dance conditioning, the science of physical therapy and the intense pace of interval training into a powerful exercise format that quickly and safely reshapes and elongates muscles.
Reformer Training Programs:
Classes are limited to a maximum of 4-6 participants.
Reformer - the reformer is the main machine in Pilates based resistance training. The machine is made up of springs, loops, a gliding carriage and a bar which challenges body and mind. A variety of exercises can be performed which gives an intense workout of the entire body creating elongated, strong, supple muscles as well as an athletic figure. It is also wonderful for rehabbing injuries.
Reform Barre - a pilates equipment class including the reformer, tower and chair with a fusion of barre work.
Yoga Programs & Workshops:
Pre & Post Natal Yoga
Our pre and post natal yoga classes are created in a supportive environment to guide new mothers through the stages of pregnancy and motherhood. These classes offer a safe and effective workout, as well as focus on relaxation with deep connection to your body and breath. During this time of your life yoga is one of the most beneficial things you can do for yourself, your body and your family. The great thing about these classes is that they also create a supportive and nurturing community during this exciting time for new moms. Prenatal classes are not heated. Class is limited to 10 participants. Drop in classes are $15/member & $20/non-member.
Holiday Charity Yoga Event (75 minute workshop on Sunday 12/11 from 12-1:15 pm)
Share the holiday spirit with our wonderful yoga instructors Erin, Ellen, Jen & Izzy! All proceeds from this workshop will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester. Suggested $15 Donation.
Solstice Stress Reliever Yoga Workshop with Amy Ross (90 minute workshop on Sunday 12/18 from 1-2:30 pm)
Stay stress-free this holiday season with this workshop. Workshops are $20/member & $25/non-member.
