Description:
Part-time position, of 15-20 hours per week. This position involves
working 3-4 days per week, from 8am – 12pm, and also entails
responsibility for supervising and staffing night shifts

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

Description:
Seeking a seasoned certified Personal Trainer to coach privates, semi privates and team training classes in East Milton, MA.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Consistently hit quarterly sales goals, client retention and work towards career advancement goals set by the Fitness Director.
  • Perform consultations and fitness assessments to new members.
  • Develop relationships with member base by providing friendly, proactive assistance and guidance.
  • Greet members and staff with exemplary service, smile, and empathy.
  • Work with the team to ensure immaculate facility and functional equipment.
  • Develop and implement customized fitness programming for individual, semi, and group training.
  • Attend all departmental meetings, all staff meetings, and training seminars.
  • Maintain proper certifications based on the most updated guidelines specific to certification.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures of the Fitness department

Qualifications/Experience:

  • At least two years of personal training experience.
  • Passionate about educating members on health and wellness and helping them achieve an optimal qualify of life.
  • Ability to self-promote and network to build clientele among member base.
  • Capable of applying fitness principles and motivating a wide variety of member demographics.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Exhibit strong work ethic.
  • Driven to learn new techniques via industry and peers.

Certification/Educational Level:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in exercise science or related field.
  •  National certification (ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM, NSCF).
  •  Additional specialty certifications (e.g., FMS, etc.) preferred.

Studio Class Instructor

Description:
The Studio Class Instructor provides cutting-edge group fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes promoting fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment. She/he acts as a fitness resource for class participants and maintains positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining group fitness classes
  • Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine
  • Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes
  • After class, instructor makes sure that all equipment is put back properly
  • Provides current music for each class that entertains and motivates while ensuring appropriate language
  • Promotes Fitness Unlimited’s promotions, programs, products, and services
  • Promotes on personal social media

Position Requirements:

  • Experiencing teaching a must
  • CPR/AED Certification
  • Minimum of one of the following Group Exercise Certifications: National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), American Fitness Aerobic Association (AFAA),
  • Ability to perform exercises specific to the assigned class
  • Passionate about health and fitness

Barre Instructor

Description:

Barre fitness classes are simply ballet-inspired, incorporating a ballet barre and maybe some plies and pirouettes here and there into the workout. Essentially, barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Experience in dance or fitness is preferred
  • Musicality, specifically the ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of the music
  • Possess strong client service skills
  • Strong sense of community

Cycle Instructor

Description:

 We are searching for a spirited spin instructor to lead a cycling class during the week or weekends.  As a cycle instructor, you will be required to plan engaging lessons, ensure the proper use of bikes, and maintain the cleanliness of the workout space. You should also track attendance and will work with the program supervisor in regards to class registration. To be successful as a cycle instructor, you should be able to motivate all participants, regardless of their level of fitness. An outstanding cycle instructor will promote our business’s interests by encouraging participants to partake in other classes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Devising fun and creative lesson plans that are appropriate for students of all fitness levels.
  • Creating and maintaining a playlist of appropriate music for each class.
  • Delivering lessons through the use of modeling and verbal instruction.
  • Ensuring that participants use the equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Suggesting tailored exercises for individuals with physical limitations or injuries.
  • Organizing themed spin classes to attract clients and maintain interest.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workout area.
  • Ensuring that the microphone, sound system, and spinning bikes are in excellent condition at all times.

 Position Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a spin instructor training program.
  • Demonstrable experience as a spin instructor.
  • CPR or first aid certification.
  • Ability to issue clear and succinct verbal directions.
  • A knack for conducting lessons that caters to all fitness levels.
  • Vibrant and personable disposition. Passionate about the health and fitness industry.
  • Ability to motivate and challenge individuals to attain their fitness-related goals.

 

Childcare Part Time Staff Position

Description:

This position provides all the necessary primary care for infants, toddlers and direct supervision of older children in the childcare room at Fitness Unlimited.  The primary job of the part time Childcare Provider is to ensure the safety and security of all children while under our care.

Looking for part time employment days, nights and weekends.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Care for children in the defined area of Fitness Unlimited.
  • Interact with the children in a positive and age appropriate manner.
  • Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handicrafts, and reading to children.
  • Maintain discipline with the children and initiate other measures to control behavior.
  • Maintain records on individual children ensuring that all children are signed in daily.
  • Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the Child Care area.
  • Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and supporting positive self-concepts.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Pass a background check
  • Prior work experience in a daycare/childcare environment required
  • Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required
  • Physically able to lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication with children required
